John is a graduate of Temple University and Slippery Rock University School of Physical Therapy. John is licensed as an athletic trainer and physical therapist in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
He has been working in sports medicine for 35 years as an exercise scientist, certified athletic trainer, and physical therapist. John has worked for a number of well-known Physical Therapy companies in South Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. He worked at many levels including: professional sports – Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Soul, Philadelphia Force, Camden Riversharks, and the Atlantic City Surf / International athletics – USA Gymnastics Trials / College athletics – LaSalle University, Temple University, Saint Joseph’s University, Villanova University, Haverford College, Lincoln University, Cairn University, NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and the Collegiate Rugby Championships, He supervised sports medicine personnel for over 100 high schools in Pennsylvania and South Jersey.
John has directed nationally recognized sports medicine seminars providing the latest in rehabilitation and preventative topics to physical therapists and athletic trainers. John has made several media appearances discussing sports medicine issues including: “Daily News Live” and “Sports Night” (Comcast SportsNet) and on Fox 29 News in Philadelphia. John is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association – also speaking at the National Convention in New Orleans, LA / Eastern Athletic Trainers Association / Athletic Trainers Society of New Jersey, and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society. John has served as the District II (NJ, PA, NY) representative to NATA’s Committee on Practice Advancement (COPA).
